Progesterone Blows

I am not accustomed to having a hormonal wife.  We have been together for almost four years and in that time she has had maybe two periods.  She is calm and decisive and level-headed.  I am the one who is prone to tears and mood swings and irritability.  Progesterone has changed all that.

For the three weeks that we were doing the injections, everything was normal.  Sure, we had a date with a needle every night and we spent alot of time in the RE's office, but my wife was around.  I'm not sure what the difference is, but she handled the Menopur like it was no big deal.  This progesterone thing is a whole different ballgame.  A bloated, constipated, overwhelming, short fuse kind of a ballgame.  And my big question is, how long does this last?  The doctor prescribed enough to cover us for this two week period, but if we are lucky enough (please, please, please) to get a BFP do we keep going?  From what I've read online, it sounds like we might be doing this thing for quite awhile.  Lovely.

Oh, the joys of the evil p. If you get a bfp, you could have 8-12 weeks more of it in your future!
